& Occurrence:
North Western Himalayas to Vietnam @
elevations of 800 to 2000 meters.
The
Plant
Small sized warm to cool growing epiphyte
with ovoid pseudo bulbs with a single leaf
Inflorescence is longer than the leaves.
Inflorescence appears from the base of the pseudobulbs with each inflorescence
carrying 3-10 flowers and flowers are 2 cm across. Lower levels of light tend
to increase the size of the flowers but the flower count is reduced.
Flowers once year during July-September and
flower lasts a few weeks.
Cultural
Requirements and Nutrition
Easy to grow bulbophyllum. Grow in semi
shade with indirect light and likes to be mounted. Keep the humidity up and
water just before the medium becomes dry as it does not like to be dry for a
long duration.

Plant
This is a medium sized hot to warm growing
epiphyte found at 300 to 1300 meters. Each cane can be upto 60 cms in length.
Inflorescence is raceme arising from leaf less canes.
Each inflorescence carries 4-5 fragrant
grapes like cluster and long lasting flowers
Cultural
Requirements and Nutrition
Grow in light shade and prefers to be
mounted or grown in a fast draining media. Water and fertilize in summer season
and stop water and fertilizing in winter for a period of 3-4 weeks
