Found in Jamaica to Cuba @sea level to 800 meters

The Plant

Small sized , hot to warm growing epiphyte with cylindrical & clustered pseudobulbs with 2 leaves

Blooms from spring to summer on a long inflorescence (upto 2 feet) and blooms repeatedly on the same inflorescence

Color is extremely variable.

Flowers throughout spring to summer

Cultural Requirements and Nutrition

Prefers to be mounted and requires high humidity and light. Water and fertilize throughout the year. Allow the medium to dry between waterings

Extensively used in hybrids for its petal substance
